Studio di Mare

About Our School –

American owned and based in Southern Italy (in the countryside of Salerno not far from the Amalfi Coast). We are a small home studio offering in-person, small group workshops with collaborating jewelers. If I’m not personally teaching the workshop, I can translate to/from English/Italian whenever necessary if the student or teacher’s native language isn’t English. Please visit our website and the event calendar for available workshops and sign up for our newsletter to stay informed about new events when added.

We offer 1-day workshops, private party events, and multi-day workshops with guest instructors.

What Makes Us Stand Out –

The studio, located in a private home, has 2 cats and stairs to reach the class area. The workspace is an enclosed terrace which could be cold in the winter or hot in the summer (however, we are working on upgrades to stabilize the climate in extreme temperatures). We have a small pool for anyone who gets too hot during summer workshops and wants to cool off (average temp 82°F).

Guest teachers desiring to host a destination workshop retreat in Italy are welcome to contact me for a possible collaboration. Famous nearby attractions for free time activities of the area include: the Amalfi Coast (Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Vietri sul Mare, etc.), Pompeii ruins, Mt. Vesuvius, Sorrento, Capri, Paestum (Greek temples), and an Etruscan museum.
