Michael Sturlin Studio

About Our School –

My studio is a sanctuary for those who wish to pursue the goldsmith’s craft in an intimate professional  environment. Whether you are an intermediate or advanced practitioner, this setting enables you to take your ability further forward with increased confidence and skill refinement.

Students have an opportunity to work in 18 karat gold under my technical supervision accompanied by my insight and advice on their individual projects and design concepts. This is an opportunity to develop confidence, proper technique and  material fluency under the watchful eye of a master goldsmith.

Scheduled January through April, my In Depth Retreat is a week long immersive experience focused on continuing skill development for  goldsmiths,  jewelry makers, and jewelry designers. Retreats include lunch and dinner.
