About us

Foster your creativity, build community, and learn the art of jewelry-making in the heart of Los Angeles

CJAS was founded on the belief that there is power in community and strength in creativity. Whether you are a serious hobbyist or new to the art and craft of making handmade jewelry, we offer a space for you to take metalsmithing classes and workshops to learn a skill, try something new, or celebrate a special occasion. We offer weekly Metalsmithing for Beginner classes; project-specific workshops, such as Beginning Metalwork and Soldering and Lost Wax Casting; private or semi-private session; and parties, all in our intimate studio.

Things to know

CJAS welcomes everyone to our studio. We are a woman-owned studio and always keep our classes small so everyone gets lots of personal attention. We are located close to the 10 freeway, with abundant, free parking. Our two friendly studio dogs will love to greet you (but can be kept away if you’re not into dogs).
