About Our School –

At Alloy: A Metalsmithing Community is a women owned and operated metalsmithing studio that offers a wide selection of Make & Take classes, Skill based workshops, Private lessons, and our unique DIY Wedding Band workshop.

Additionally, we offer membership opportunities that include rentable studio space and private benches. Our beautiful shared studio is fully equipped with 6 jewelers benches, soldering station, extensive selection of shared tools, metalsmithing resource library, and store where members and the public can purchase tools and materials. Our secondary studio houses 5 private jewelers benches, soldering station and additional shared tools.

We have a large and growing community that we engage with at our regular meet-ups and events. Come take a class with us or join us at one of our public meet-ups!

What Makes Us Stand Out –

Alloy is located on the 6th floor of the beautiful and historic Livestock Exchange Building in the West Bottoms of Kansas City. The building has elevator access, 24-7 security and a private parking lot. Hop downstairs for breakfast/lunch at the Ox Cafe, or sneak over to the Golden Ox after your workshop for a delicious steak!
